A leaden token issued at Frank- fort a. M. as early as 1497 and in use until the beginning of the seventeenth century.
Joseph and Felluer, in their work on the coinage of that city 1896, pp. 39-40), state that the Boleton, or Blyen (i.e., Blei-lead) were of two sizes: the larger were re- doomed for twelve Heller and the smaller for six Heller.
