Definition
  • A series of copper tokens struck by the bursar of the guild or chapter at Munster and Paderborn from 1543 to 1633. They are of the denomina- tions of three Schillinge, 12, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1 Pfennig, and one Heller. The value is on one side and a figure of St. Paul on the reverse. Many are countermarked with the arms or name of the bursar.
