Cagliarese Pubblico Deposited
A copper coin of Cagliari, in the island of Sardinia. It was first struck by the Kings of Spain as rulers of Sar- dinia in the sixteenth century, and the coinage extends to the beginning of the nineteenth century under the House of Savoy. Multiples of three Cagliaresi were issued as late as the reign of Victor Eman- uel I (1814-1821). It is usually computed at two Denari.
