Capuciae Público Deposited
A name given to a variety of Follari struck at Ragusa at the end of the thirteenth century. The diadem and toga on the figure on the obverse gave it the ap- pearance of being covered with a cap, hence the popular designation. A statute of the year 1294 mentions, follari, qui dicuntur capuciae.
