Chakram Pubblico Deposited
A silver coin of the Hindu State of Travancore issued in the eighteenth century and later. There are multiples and divisions, and report says that Chakrams of gold had once been coined, but this, though probable, lacks confirmation.
The Chakram is equal to sixteen copper Kas, and is the fourth part of the Fanam. Conf. Elliot (passim).
