Cinquina Público Deposited
A silver coin struck under Ferdinand I of Aragon, as King of Naples and Sicily (1458-1494). Its value appears to have been originally five Grani but the later issnes being of copper were only equal to two and a half Grani. See Du- cato.
In the Maltese series this coin appears at the beginning of the seventeenth cen- tury in copper and was struck as late as the reign of Emanuel de Rohan (1775- 1797).
