Decaen Piastre Öffentlichkeit Deposited
A silver coin of the value of ten Livres, issued in the Isle of France in 1810. The coins were struck from metal captured in the ship Oviedor, and obtained their name from Decaen, the captain general. For a detailed account, see Spink (ix. 4415), and Zay (p. 265).
