Dhingalo Publique Deposited
A copper coin of Cutch and Kathiawar, of the value of one sixteenth of a Kori (q.v.). Codrington states that "Dhingo" is a Cutch term meaning "fat," and "lo" is a masculine suffix, and he adds, "so Dingalo means something fat, hence the fattest coin. Though at present it is used for a pice and a half, I think it was originally three pice or tambios."
