Diamante Público Deposited
A silver coin of Ferrara, corresponding to the Grosso, first struck by Borso (1450-1471) and imitated by several of his successors. It receives its name from a figure resembling a diamond on the obverse. A smaller coin of similar type is known as the Diamantino.
