Ecu aux Lauriers Pubblico Deposited
The name given to a variety of the silver Ecu struck by Loius XV in 1737 and later, on account of the reverse design which represented a crowned shield between two branches of laurels. There are divisions of one half, one fifth, one tenth, and one twentieth.
