Ekaba Pubblico Deposited
A name given to a variety of glass beads used as money by the Galla tribes of Abyssinia. Those most esteemed are red with an equatorial zone of white enamel. See A. Thomson D'Abbadie, in the Numismatic Chronicle (ii. 1839-'40).
