Escalin a la Rose 上市 Deposited
A variety of the Schelling of the Low Countries having on the obverse a floriated cross surmounted by a rose. It is consequently also known as the Roosschelling.
This piece was first struck in 1601 and the coinage extended to the middle of the eighteenth century.
