Falconer's Half Crown Public Deposited

  • A name given to a variety of half Crown of Charles I, issued by the Scottish mint, and bearing the letter F under the horses' feet. This type was executed by John Falconer, the son-in-law of Nicholas Briot and the warden of the Edinburgh mint.
