Fierer Publique Deposited
Also called Quadrans and Etschvierer, was a silver coin current in the Holy Roman Empire, Tyrol, and Southern Germany from the thirteenth to the sixteenth century.
It had a value of four Berner (q.v.), hence its name, and was equal to one fifth of a Kreuzer. There is one of Graz, dated as early as 1445. See Frey, The Dated European Coinage Prior to 1501. 1914 (No. 72).
