  • A variety of the Gros struck by Charles VI of France 1380-1422) and which had a value of twenty Deniers Tournois, or sixteen Deniers Parisis. It obtained its name from the three large fleurs de lis on the obverse. See Hoffmann, Les monnaies royales de France. 1878 (17-21, etc.).

    The type was copied in the Anglo-Gallic series by Henry V (1415-1422).
