  • A purse or sum of one hundred and twenty-five Arguria. From ancient sources we learn that in the Constantinian period a Follis Argentei was valued at one hundred and twenty-five Millarenses, or two hundred and eighteen Siliquae plus eight Nummi of bronze. It was equal to one eighth of the Follis Auri, or nine gold Solidi.
