Definizione

• A general term for any Thaler with the figure of Fortuna, such as those struck in Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, Mecklenburg, etc.

  In 1623 and 1624 Christian IV of Denmark issued Thaler for Gluckstadt, which bore the figure of Fortuna, the armorial bearings of the city. These receive the same name.
