Definición

• A billon coin of Freiburg, Lausanne, and other Swiss cantons, issued originally in the sixteenth century with a value of five Heller, and later five Kreuzer.

  The name is also applied to the five Kreuzer pieces of Bamberg, Salzburg, Henneberg, etc., and to the five Ferding pieces of Riga.
