  • The name given to silver coins of fifteen Sols and five Sols struck in Paris in 1670 for use in the French colonies in America. The reverse inscription reads GLORIAM. REGNI. TVI. DICENT., which is taken from Psalms (cxlv. 11). See Zay, Histoire monetaire des colonies franchises. 1892 (p. 45).
