Gnadenpfennig Publique Deposited
is not a coin but a medal usually of oval form with a ring or similar attachment for suspension. They were chiefly issued for weddings of princes and the nobility, and are common to Bamberg, Paderborn, various parts of Pomerania, Courland, etc.
