Gold Thaler Público Deposited
A former money of account in Bremen, the one four hundred and twentieth part of a pound of fine gold. It was equal to seventy-two Groten, and in 1871 silver coins were issued bearing the inscription EIN THALER GOLD, based on the above standard.
