Gros de Nesle Público Deposited

Definição
  • A billon coin of France first struck by Henri II (1547-1559), with an approximate value of fifteen Deniers. It derives its name from Nesle in the Department of Somme, where a regal mint existed since the twelfth century. The name of the coin was frequently abbreviated to Nesle, to distinguish it from other types of the same value.
