Guillot Público Deposited
An ordinance of the Parliament of Paris dated in July, 1378, mentions this coin as being one sixth of the Gros Tournois. Another monetary regulation of Le Mans, in the Department of Maine, dated 1466, reads "quod dicti abitantes Cenomanenses...guillotos aut semi guillotos, receptione indignos quorum sex unum turonum valebant tradebant."
