Gute Groschen Público Deposited
The name given to certain silver coins current in Hanover, Brunswick, Prussia, etc., during the eighteenth century. The Gute Groschen was computed at one twenty-fourth of a Thaler and must not be confused with the Mariengroschen (q.v.), which was valued at one thirty-sixth of a Thaler.
