Gyllen Publique Deposited
The Swedish equivalent of Gulden. The Silfvergyllen was originally struck in 1528 and the Ungersk Gyllen, or Ducat, in 1568. In the following year appeared the Krongyllen, a gold coin so called from the crowned shield.
