Definición
  • The name given to a variety of Chinese metallic currency on ac- count of their bridgelike appearance. Ramsden, who describes these pieces in de- tail (pp. 29-32), adds, " I would suggest the name of Tingle Dangle as more appro- priate, since they will probably result to be miniature token representatives of the larger musical instruments which are still to be seen in certain parts of China. " The Chinese name for Bridge Money is Kiao Pi, and for Tingle Dangle money is King Shih Pi.
