Livonese Public Deposited
A silver Russian issue struck by the Czarina Elizabeth for Livonia and Esthonia, pursuant to an ordinance of October 25, 1756. They consisted of pieces of ninety-six, forty-eight, twenty-four, four, and two Kopecks, but were soon withdrawn from circulation. See Noback, Munz, Mass, und Gewichts-verhaltnisse. 1850. (p. 923).
