Louisiana Cent Público Deposited
A name given to the copper Sous inscribed COLONIES FRANCOISES and dated 1721 and 1722, because they were intended for almost exclusive use in the French colony of Louisiana, which at that time included nearly all the territory between the Alleghanies and the Kocky Mountains.
