Mahallak Public Deposited
A brass coin of El-Harrar, a province of Abyssinia, issued A.H. 1284 and after. See Valentine, Modern Copper Coins of the Muhammadan States. 1911. (p. 82). It was the one-twentieth part of the Gersh, or Ghrush. The same name was given to the first silver coin struck at El-IIarrar by Menclik. It has a value equal to the Egyptian Piastre.
