Maskat Pice Publique Deposited
In a report of the United States Consulate at Maskat, Oman, dated March 25, 1911, it is stated that the only Oman coin is the copper Baisa or "Maskat Pice." "It is used in retail transactions and can usually be exchanged in small quantities at the rate of twelve Baisas for one Anna of Indian currency."
