Mehnder-Mulie Public Deposited
Kirkpatrick, in An Account of the Kingdom of Nepal, 1811 (pp. 217-218), states that in 1793 "the silver eight-anna piece, now called Mohr and Adheeda, was formerly denominated Mehnder-Mulie, after the prince who first struck it (i.e. Mahendra Malla, A.D. 1566), and by treaty established it in the neighboring Kingdom of Tibet."
