  • Frequently called Menut, an obsidional copper coin, struck at Vich during the French occupation in 1645; at Barcelona in 1643; and in Civita Vecchia from 1642 to 1646. See Mailliet, Monnaies obsidionales. 1870. (exx. 12-15, Suppl. 11, No. 12), etc.

    These appear to have been copied from a regular type issued by Phillip II and Phillip III of Spain.
