Mikron Public Deposited
A name given to the five Lepta piece of modern Greece.
The Ionian Islands, under British protection, 1834-1863, issued copper pieces of one, two and one half, five, and ten Oboli in 1819 and later, as well as a silver coin of thirty Oboli. The one Obolos was also known as Mikron and the silver coin as Tripenon.
