Mouton Público Deposited
A larger form of the Agnel (q.v.). It is generally attributed to Edward III of England during his occupation of France (1337-1356), but, as the title "King of France" and the English arms are absent from this piece, a writer in the Numismatic Chronicle (1906, p. 274) has suggested that it should be assigned to Edward, Duke of Gueldres.
