  • The name given to such coins on which are representations of the insignia or badges of the Orders of Knighthood, etc. Thus on a Thaler of Frederick I of Prussia the chain of the Order of the Black Eagle, founded by him, is depicted; and on a Crown of Christian V of Denmark the cross of the Order of Danebrog is pictured.
