A silver coin of Aix- la-Chapelle struck for the value of 16 Marks in 1711, and the same design was employed in 1752 for pieces of 8 Marks and 32 Marks. The value is given in figures on a shield which is placed on the breast of the eagle on the obverse. The reverse has the coronation insignia on an altar and the inscription LOCVS. CORONATIONIS. CAESREAE.
