  • A pattern by Thomas Simon. It is of the same type and bears the same legends as the Petition Crown (q.v.), and is from the same dies, but the edge is inscribed reddite . qvae . caesaris . caesari, etc. See Ruding, Annals of the Coinage of Britain. 1840. (xxxiv. 7).
