• A name given to a variety of the Albus which was adapted to the cur- rencies of the Palatinate, Mainz, Frankfort a. M., and Hanau. It was the equivalent of eight Pfennige, or two Kreuzer, or one half Batzen, and occurs also in multiples of doubles and triples.
