Definition

• The Scandinavian equivalent of Reiehsthaler. It was introduced by Gustav I of Sweden (1521-1560) and di- vided into twelve Marks. Since the mone- tary convention of 1875 it represents forty- eight Skillings, or one hundred Ore. See Daler.
