San Felipe Pubblico Deposited
A silver coin issued by Philip III of Portugal (1621-1640) for Goa. It receives its name from the letters S.F., i.e., Sao Felipe, which are found on the obverse, one on each side of the figure of a saint. See Fonrobert (3878).
