Definition

• An early silver coin of Brabant issued by Wenceslaus and Johanna (1355-1405). Three Schaelgy were equal to two Grooten plus four Placken. See Heylen, Antwoord op het Vraeg-Stuk, etc., 1787 (p. 26).
