Seisino Pubblico Deposited
A copper coin of the value of half a Real, struck by Philip IV of Spain, during the French occupation of Barcelona, 1640-1652. It must not be confused with the Sixain (q.v.) struck by the French during the same period. A similar piece was issued for Villa Franca in 1642. See Mailliet (exxiii. 4).
