Tambio Público Deposited
A copper coin of Cutch and Kathiawar, and equal to the one forty-eighth of the Kori (q.v.).
The name is derived from the Sanscrit Tamrika, though its root meaning is "of copper." Codrington states that "in practice it used to mean a half-pice; originally, I believe, it meant a pice."
