Torellino Publique Deposited
A variety of the Piccolo of Parma, issued under Republican rule (1260-1326), and copied by Guido of Cor- reggio (1341-1345). It received its name from the figure of a small ox on the coin, which design may have been adopted to commemorate the celebrated Torella da Strada, master of Parma circa 1220.
