Definition
A copper coin of Cutch and Kathiawar, of the value of one twenty-fourth of a Kori (q.v.). Codrington states that it is from the Prakrit Dukkado, or the Sanscrit Dvikrita, meaning "twice done," i.e., twice a Tambio. He adds that "though now used to mean one pice, it must originally have been two pice."
