Drachma Publique Deposited
(Plural Drachmai.) The unit and basis of the coinage of modern Greece since 1833, and also adopted by Crete in 1901. It is a silver coin of the same value as the Franc, Lira, and other coins of the Latin Union, and is divided into one hundred Lepta.
