Définition

• The name given in the provinces of East and West Prussia to the former Silbergroschen equal to one sixteenth of the Thaler. It is very extensively found in the coinages of Bremon, Holstein-Gottorp, Stralsund, etc., at the beginning of the seventeenth century.
