Hoedjesschelling Publique Deposited
A variety of the Schelling which receives its name from the figure of a hood on a staff, the Latter being held in the claws of a lion rampant. It was issued only for the Province of Zeeland, and the coinage originated in 1672 and extends to about 1720.
