Pattern Pubblico Deposited

Definizione
  • A suggested design, which may or may not he adopted. Pattern pieces are those for which the dies have been designed and cut for a proposed coinage. These models are afterwards submitted to the mint authorities for approval and have been discarded by them for various rea- sons.
