Pavilion d'Or Pubblico Deposited
A gold coin of France, issued by Philip VI of Valois (1328-1350). It receives its name from the canopy or tent under which the King is seated. It was copied by Edward the Black Prince in the Anglo-Gallic series, and struck at Bordeaux.
